Olympics Venues for 2024

When I started researching this project I soon realized that I could not give as much detail into the venues of the 2024 Paris Olympics as I wanted.  So I will provide a summary since 35 venues showcase the 329  Events. Only 2 Of these venues were built specifically for the Olympics.

Many venues will also be used for the Paralympics from August 28 through September 8, 2024.

One of the things that kept coming up was the focus on sustainability and France's desire to be the "greenest" Olympics yet. The venues have been chosen or designed to minimize environmental impact, including using existing facilities and temporary structures, some of which will be re-used.Many have state-of-the-art technology to minimize the carbon footprint by using solar panels, creating renewable energy, catching and recycling rainwater, recovering heat from a neighboring wastewater treatment plant, and using recycled materials.

The Games will spread across Paris and its suburbs, integrating with the city's urban fabric and celebrating French culture. This will create a festival atmosphere throughout the city, rather than being confined to a single Olympic Park.

Many venues are being designed with their post-Games legacy in mind, ensuring they will serve the local community and sports enthusiasts for years to come.
