A Monarch's life could be our Covid Story.

Updated: Nov 19, 2021

I have been fascinated by the life and evolution of butterflies.

This could be your Covid story. LOL

Monarch Butterflies Once hatched from their eggs the caterpillars live for 7 - 17 days with one goal - EAT to grow bigger. Caterpillars eat milkweed that contains a toxin that makes them poisonous to protects them from predators, it stays in their systems so even the butterflies taste bad. Once the caterpillar cocoons up into a chrysalis it takes 8 - 15 days before it changes and comes out as an adult butterfly. I love this analogy because it reminds me of what many of us have gone through with our Covid quarantine. Let's all emerge from this pandemic and fly free.
